Section III. EHR Review Review the Culture & Sensitivity (C&S) Report on the Notes Tab of the de-identified EHR that accompanies this activity under 2: Launch EHR and answer the following questions. Tip! Open the Culture & Sensitivity Report from the Notes Tab, then click “Edit.” This will help you determine how the information was recorded (structured, unstructured, or both) to answer questions 9-11. What specimen type was documented in the Culture & Sensitivity (C&S) report, and how was this information recorded in the EHR? Was it structured, unstructured, or both? Urine What organism(s) were identified in the lab results, and how was this information recorded in the EHR? Was it structured, unstructured, or both? Which antibiotics were tested, and how was this information recorded in the EHR? Was it structured, unstructured, or both? According to the Culture & Sensitivity (C&S) Report in the EHR, which antibiotic(s) are indicated as effective against the identified organism(s), and what is the rationale based on the report findings?
