Meet Your Patient: Alyssa Thomas Learning Objective: Perform a focused nose, mouth, throat, and pain assessments on a patient that is pregnant. (CO 5) Requirements: You are caring for a patient complaining of a productive cough, stuffy, runny nose, and a sore throat. It is important you familiarize yourself with the exams in the physical section that will allow you to conduct focused nose, mouth, throat, and pain assessments. Please make sure you know how to take vital signs (BP, Pulse, respirations and O2 saturation). You are also responsible for a pain assessment (OPQRST) and Nurses Note in SBAR format.
