As this is a 7 week course, we are going to be covering our e-text Chapters 1 (Introduction to long term care, quality and safety) and 2 (No Place like home: An overview of home and community-based services in the United States. Let’s discuss an important personnel issue this week: The direct care workforce (for example, home health aides or comm hab workers) in the United States plays a crucial role in providing home and community based services (HCBS). Discuss some of the challenges that this workforce faces ad potential solutions to address these challenges. and include citation of at least one scholarly source. Discussion boards must be written in paragraph format. Bullet-pointed or numbered single idea lists will not receive full credit.
