give a short reply and citation. To start, let’s talk about the common problems older adults face. In rural areas, they deal with many health challenges. Diabetes and high blood pressure are very common. There is a significant challenge to healthcare access. This is because clinics and hospitals are far away. Other thing activities that may complicate things are smoking, unhealthy diets, and not getting enough exercise (Banerjee, 2021). Isolation can also cause mental health issues like depression. The older adults mostly are always left alone to do their things. Next, lets focus on promoting health habits to prevent health issues. This is the first level of prevention. It concerns teaching people. We will hold simple workshops about eating healthy, exercising, and quitting smoking. We shall use their food for demonstration. A fitness instructor will show easy exercises like stretching and walking. Faith leaders or trusted community members will join the event to make everyone feel comfortable. Clear visuals and simple language will make the lessons easy to understand. Another important part of the event will be providing health screenings. This second level of prevention is called secondary prevention (Kisling et al., 2023). At the event, we’ll offer free health screenings to catch any problems early, before they get worse. To make it easier for everyone, mobile health units will bring the services right to a central place like a church or community center. This way, more people can attend. If someone doesn’t speak English, we shall provide interpreter services. We’ll also team up with the local health department and nonprofit groups. This will be able to provide doctors, nurses, and necessary supplies. The third level of prevention is known as tertiary prevention. This deals with supporting those already dealing with chronic health issues, through support groups. These groups will teach them how to manage their conditions. Topics will include taking medications on time, eating well, and managing stress. Materials will be simple and reflect their daily lives. We will also connect them to local resources like transportation or home care services. Community health workers will check on them after the event to provide extra help. Finally, about the event partners, we will work with and the activities we will offer. The partners may include the local health department, nearby hospitals, and local groups. Churches will help us share the information concerning the events. Volunteers, including healthcare students, will assist during the event. Activities will include cooking lessons, exercise sessions, and free giveaways. We will give items like recipe cards and health brochures.
