Prior to becoming a surgical tech I actually wanted to become a NICU nurse. It had always been a dream ever since my sister’s best friend had twins and they both spent quite awhile in the NICU. I couldn’t get over those nurses and how kind and caring they were for not only the babies but also the families. I also couldn’t get over how rewarding it must feel to be able to see those babies graduate from the NICU and be able to go home.
